One of the most famous landmarks and popular tourist attractions in Paris, France is the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower First Viewing Gallery
First Floor and Viewing Area

It is at the first floor viewing area that you get your first panoramic view of Paris. Visitors can climb the stairs or take the lifts to the first and second floors. The lifts can be very busy particularly at peak periods and during weekends but the views of Paris and the exhibits on show make any possible wait well worthwhile. Disabled people in wheelchairs can also use the lifts as far as the second floor. The lifts run from the north, west and east pillars although one is ususally out of service for security and maintenance reasons. If you want the spectacular views of Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower then another passenger lift is taken from the second floor. There are 1652 steps to the top.
